Dog lover first...dog trainer second!
I am a dog lover first, and a dog trainer second. I know from first-hand experience the difference dog training makes in the relationship between dog and owner. Without professional training it can sometimes be a frustrating relationship, but with an investment in good training a wonderful transformation will occur.

After many years of living with and raising dogs, teaching every dog I could get my hands on......I decided to leave Corporate America and pursue my life passion - - To help save as many dog's lives as God would allow me to. After much soul searching, I decided the best way for me to do this was to study to be a Professional Dog Trainer. Even with several years of experience under my belt, (20+ years) I also wanted a formal education, certification, and a hands on apprenticeship with an established, successful, positive, and Professional Trainer. I did my research and found Animal Behavior College who was able to provide me with all of the above and helped to make my dream come true. At ABC, I studied Animal Behavior, Learning Theory, Behavior Modification, Obedience, and The Power of Positive Reinforcement to name the top 5 courses. I proudly maintained a 4.0 grade average and earned a Special Honors Certificate through Animal Behavior College to become certified in what is truly my life passion.
I am extremely active in the volunteer program at Doc Williams SPCA and Francis Willis SPCA and serve as their Behavior Advisor.
I assist every rescue group in this area that I can and do everything possible to promote their dogs up for adoption. I work to solve and prevent behavior problems for these homeless dogs in hopes that they are more easily rehomed as well as stay in their new home, once adopted. I am also an Animal Behahavior College Mentor, Vet Recommended by the wonderful staff at Sangaree Animal Hospital, have articles published by Low Country Dog Magazine, am fully insured and bonded, and am a proud and active member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers. I also attend continuing education seminars sponsored by APDT and Clicker Training Expo every year keeping up with the latest research on positive reinforcement training strategies.
