Obedience Training is one of the best things you can do for your dog or puppy... and your family. Obedience training is the foundation for solving just about any problem. Training opens up a line of communication between you and your dog. Effective communication is necessary to teach your dog about what you want her to do. Group Study is also a perfect opportunity for proper and productive socialization.
In TLC’s Obedience 101 class, you will learn how to prevent and solve behavior problems, learn how to communicate with your dog, learn how to handle different situations, become a fair and consistent leader, and learn basic commands such as teaching the dog to respond to his/her name, focus on you, or the handler, loose leash manners, heel, sit, down, stay, and coming when called.
Class is set up to teach the dogs around distractions, but also to socialize and learn through interactive games – keeping learning fun and stress free for the dogs as well as humans! Your dog or puppy can begin this class as eary as 16 weeks old.
